Bodies of Four Missing Italian Divers Found in Maldives Cave

The bodies of four Italian tourists who went missing during a diving expedition in the Maldives have been found, according to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).

In a statement, the MNDF said the bodies were discovered inside the cave where the tourists had gone diving. The discovery was made during a special search and recovery operation conducted by the MNDF.

The operation involved the Maldives Coast Guard, Maldives Police Service, and experienced divers sent by the Italian government.

Authorities said efforts are now underway to retrieve the bodies of the four men from the cave in the coming days.

The tourists had reportedly gone missing while diving in the area, prompting an extensive multinational search operation.
